I cannot believe how happy I am to have found it on tape (though I wish they had all of the seasons on DVD). I bought a set for my sister as well. I know that watching these will bring back many happy memories!A reviewer, A reviewer, December 26, 2004 The Best Series Ever Made for Television! My family and I grew up watching Avonlea. Every Monday night at 8:00 we would put on our pajamas and gather into the family room and watch this wonderful program. I am now twenty-three and my brother is twenty and we still love this program just as much as we did when we were children. Watching these episodes with my parents over the Christams holidays brought back many happy memories. I only hope they place every episode onto a dvd/vhs one day because I would buy the entire set. I LOVE IT!!!!!Also Recommended: Anne of Green Gables Anee of Avonlea Parent TrapA reviewer, A reviewer, June 26, 2004 OutstandingI LOVE this series! Adults love it as much as children... And for children, this is something they enjoy watching over and over again... Much more interesting than SpongeBob, to say the least!!! If youve never seen Avonlea, youve missed something very enchanting... This is something to add to your DVD collection... Renting is Not the way to go for such a beloved series, that you never grow tired of watching! Also Recommended: Disneys The Miracle Worker ~ A contemporary version of the true story of Helen Keller, played wonderfully by the cute little Hallie Kate Eisenberg.
