Barnes & Noble Two new-to-DVD episodes from SpongeBobs long-awaited fourth season serve as lures for this collection. The keenly felt of absence of Patrick notwithstanding, "Fear of a Krabby Patty" and "Shell of a Man" reach new comic depths. In the first story, Plankton hatches a devious scheme to drive a sleep-deprived, nightmare-plagued SpongeBob to reveal the fabled recipe for the Krabby Patty. In "Shell of a Man," Mr. Krabs molts on the eve of his reunion with "the toughest guys who ever sailed the briny deep," so he sends a disguised SpongeBob to pose as "Armor Abs" Krabs. SpongeBob bubbles with clever writing and surreal visual asides. The surprise appearance of a Plankton-flattening piano in "Fear of a Krabby Patty," for instance, recalls vintage Tex Avery lunacy. This DVD also contains six stories already available on previous DVD volumes: "Arrgh!"; "Neptunes Spatula"; "One Krabs Trash"; "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy V"; "Karate Choppers"; and "Im Your Biggest Fanatic."
