Life begins anew at the Oswald Maximum Security Prison in season two. The dust has settled after the riot at the end of season one, and the governor has launched an investigation to determine the cause and assign blame. It quickly becomes clear, however, that a few correctional officers used the riot to settle personal vendettas, and their complicity threatens to explode in the governors face. All of this is de rigueur at Oz, where any notion of rehabilitating prisoners has long been abandoned. Season Two features fine performances from the ensemble cast, led by Terry Kinney (as Emerald City Unit Manager Tim McManus), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (prisoner Simon Adebisi), Dean Winters (prisoner Ryan O Reilly), plus the pre-Sopranos Edie Falco (Officer Diane Whittlesey). Creator Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Street) continues to delve into the psychological traumas of incarceration and incarcerating to maximum effect. The characters are matched perfectly. WELL I CAN TELL YOU I WAS ONE OF THE FIRST IN LINE AT TOWER RECORDS HERE IN SAN DIEGO AT MIDNIGHT, SO I COULD GET ONE OF THE FIRST COPYS RELEASED. IF ONLY I COULD HAVE BEEN IN NEW YORK CITY AT THEIR TOWER RECORDS THEY HAD THE CAST FROM OZ LIVE IN PERSON, SIGNING THE STUFF , I WOULD HAVE GAVE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO BE ABLE TO MEET THOSE GUYS. THEY ARE THE BEST AND I DO MEAN THEEE BEST ACTORS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I GIVE THIS OZ THE FIRST SEASON A 10 STAR RATING IF THERE EVEN IS ONE THAT HIGH IF NOT THERE SHOULD BE FOR THIS SHOWAND AS FOR THE SECOND SEASON WELL I KNOW ITS BETTER THAN THE FIRST AND AS SOON AS I GET THE MONEY I WILL BE BUYING IT YOU CAN BET YOUR LAST DOLLAR ON THAT. AND AS FOR THE LAST SEASON WELL I AM SO SORRY THAT MR. TOM FONTANA IS CALLING IT QUITS BUT I AM PRAYING THAT HE CHANGES HIS MIND BECAUSE THIS IS A GREAT SHOW AND HAS ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES THAT IS FOR SURE . MR. FONTANA IF YOU EVER DO READ THIS YOU ARE THE BEST AND I PRAY YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT CAN GO ON FOREVER JUST LIKE REAL LIFE DOES. AND TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED THIS SHOW OZ OZWALDE STATE PRISON WELL I DO SUGGEST IF YOU WANT A GOOD SHOW THAT YOU WATCH IT, AND YOU WILL BE HOOKED, .AND AS FOR THE LAST SHOW I JUST SAW, TOBIAS BEECHER WELL I HAD TEARS IN MY EYES BECAUSE HE GOT SOME GREAT NEWS FROM THE PRISON PAROLE BOARD AND I ACTUALLY STARTED CRYING, SO WATCH AND SEE, YOU MIGHT CRY TOO. MR. FONTANA AND ALL THE CAST FROM OZ YOU ARE #1 IN MY WORLD AND SOME DAY I WISH I COULD MEET YOU ALL.Also Recommended: SOPRANOS BUT NOT HALF AS MUCH AS OZRobert J. Garcia (lildevil06660@yahoo.com), a big fan of true stories an events OZ is one of the best real prison sitcomsWith just the first season of OZ I was hooked. Their story lines an acting in this show is so real. To me it was one of the best shows that gives you a true look at what it is like being confined to prison life, an dealing with all the drama that goes on inside. If you have to know what prison is like without actually going in. This is my first pick to you, just to see what it is like.Also Recommended: Blood in Blood out American Me
