Its always a beautiful day for fun and make-believe, as Fred Rogers (thats Mister Rogers to you) plays congenial host to his "television friends" in two episodes from his cherished, long-running PBS series. In "Circus Fun," Fred takes viewers behind the scenes at a circus to meet the animals and human performers, and observe how the clowns put on their makeup. Joining Fred in the stands, viewers have an ideal seat to watch the circus artists perform. In the "Neighborhood of Make-Believe" segment, Chuckles the Clown and Lady Aberlin help their friends constructively deal with their feelings. This includes helping a cat get over clown-phobia and encouraging a caterpillar that has yet to transform into a butterfly. The second episode, "Music Adventures," introduces an FOF (Friend of Freds) who has a fascinating collection of unusual musical instruments. Fred, too, has perfect pitch in the warm and comforting way he communicates with his viewers. Small wonder he is the only childrens host to stand among TV Guides ranking of the "50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time." Donald LiebensonCustomer ReviewsWrite your own online review >
