 Barnes & Noble Anti-terrorist operative Nikita (Peta Wilson) is on the run for the second season of the cult hit La Femme Nikita, as her tenure with the shadowy Section One takes some interesting turns. At the end of Season 1, Nikita escaped the Freedom Leagues hideout with help from Michael (Roy Dupuis). In the season opener, "Hard Landing," Nikita is acting as a waitress when she is captured and used as bait to lure Section into a trap. A raid led by Michael gets her back -- and they share a passionate reunion -- but throughout the course of the season her loyalties to Section are tested time and again. Nikita is returned to operative status in "Third Person" and mysteriously continues to rise through the ranks, being promoted to second-in-command by Operations (Eugene Robert Glazer) when he is seriously wounded in "New Regime," and then to team leader in "First Mission." The season-ending two-part arc, "Adrians Garden" and "Endgame," revolves around the return of Section Ones founder and Nikitas creator, Adrian (Sian Phillips), and the choice Nikita must make: the existence of Section One, or Michaels life.
