Growing pains may account for Jan’s wish be an only child, for Bobbys adoption of the vicious killer Jesse James as his hero, or for Greg and Marcias competition to secure the attic bedroom. Yes, the timeless sibling travails of The Brady Bunch retain their Day-Glo ‘70s glimmer in this penultimate season of the pop-culture phenomenon. Several of this cheesy, cheery series’ most treasured episodes appear in this Season 4 set, most notably "The Subject Was Noses." In this landmark outing, Marcia breaks a date with sweet-but-klutzy Charlie to go out with hunky football star Doug Simpson, only to get canceled by Doug after an errant football leaves her with a swollen proboscis. This season also includes the Hawaiian three-parter in which a Tiki idol brings nothing but bad luck to the Brady Boys, and guest stars Vincent Price and Don Ho serve up the ham and luau-lizard charm, respectively. Mom and Dad Brady, Florence Henderson and Robert Reed, stretch their acting muscles in "You’re Never Too Old," which offers them feisty dual roles. Also here is "Fright Night," which finds the boys and girls playing tricks on each other before teaming up to spook Alice -- and taking things "too far"! The Complete Fourth Season is a must-own for Brady-philes and general-V buffs alike. Donald LiebensonCustomer ReviewsWrite your own online review >
