Barnes & Noble The prospect of a Halloween party with Barney may frighten some adults, but this is one of his better outings, offering fledgling trick-or-treaters a cornucopia of musical treats (including "I Like Autumn") and age-appropriate seasonal activities. Barney and friends help their teachers gather pumpkins from a local farm and create easy-to-make decorations, such as paper-bag owls, for the schools Halloween shindig. "Halloween is the perfect day for us to use our imaginations," Barney advises, with characteristic glee. A parental advisory: Have plenty of newspaper or a drop cloth handy in case viewers want to try one of the program’s "icky, squishy, gooey" decoration ideas: sticking your feet into white paint to make ghosts on black paper.
